Compensation Range: $38-45/hr.
Compensation is dependent upon education and experience.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Developing and initiating the Nursing Care Plan
- Providing clear and complete client documentation
- Implementing Physician Orders
- Counting narcotics daily, logs appropriately
- Meeting regularly with medical staff to discuss client treatment
- Providing assessments of medical problems
- Performing primary first aid and determining need for physician notification
- Meeting with each client, completing a daily assessment, taking vital signs and administering all prescription medication
- Assist with meals, dishes, and bathroom observations
- Responsibility for carrying out any orders received from the physician and psychiatrist, and reporting information to the Nurse Administrator, Program Director and Facility Manager
- Contributing insightful, practical, and meaningful information to the treatment planning process
- Directing residents in a clear, concise, and informative matter
- Understanding the therapeutic process and confidentiality laws, and having strong knowledge of professional ethics
- Demonstrating leadership abilities, with an ability to communicate with persons from all educational and cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrating tact, initiative, resourcefulness, a professional manner, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude
Compensation Range: $38-45/hr.
Compensation is dependent upon education and experience.
This full-time (36 hours a week/3 12-hour shifts) position is in-person at our Milwaukee Adult Residential Program. It has a schedule of 7a-7p and is part of a 3-week rotating schedule.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse degree, required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Experience working in behavioral healthcare, preferred
- Must hold an unencumbered nursing license in the state of Wisconsin
- Obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
- Obtain ServSafe certification within 90 day of hire
- Must possess a current driver’s license and be in good standing
