Compensation Range: $120-155k per year

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

At Center for Discovery, we are committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care and swift access to treatment for those individuals we serve. The Regional Director is responsible for collaborating with and overseeing the programs in the designated region to maximize their productivity and excellence. This role works closely with the Regional Vice President to carry out the strategic plan of Center for Discovery.

                                                                 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsibility for day-to-day operations of all assigned locations, ensuring proper operations against identified key metrics including volume, operational excellence, quality of care, financial growth, and customer experience
  • Act as a hands-on leader, frequently (weekly) visiting facilities to ensure efficiency, quality, and systematic functions in operational/clinical performance
  • Provide leadership, direction, and ongoing management for the daily operations including direct responsibility for all sites and their respective territory.
  • Maximizes efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day business operations and identifies and targets areas within the division which can be improved.
  • Prioritize and ensure the embodiment of the organizational values of access to care and clinical quality.
  • Implement revenue and cost strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Prepare and report timely and accurate operational performance reports, against key metrics, to the senior management team.
  • Establish and maintain standardized operating processes and maintain a positive, professional culture.
  • Recruit, develop and retain key talent through coaching, training, and leadership development.
  • Leads projects and direct teams to drive continuous-improvement initiatives into daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitors and evaluates programs to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and requirements of third-party payers. 
  • Oversees Program Managers/Directors to execute the division’s budgetary strategy.  Focuses on maintaining appropriate expenditure and reduction of loss from operations.
  • Works collaboratively with Human Resources department to lead team and establish a trusting and productive department. This includes carrying out essential HR functions for direct reports (i.e., hiring, annual reviews, performance management, and personnel improvement plans).
  • Analyzes the performance of support functions for programs and make recommendations and improvement.
  • Maintains excellent and prompt communication with all DBH employees to ensure coordination of operational activities.
  • Serves as representative for Center for Discovery by collaborating with the Clinical Outreach Representatives to establish and maintain positive relationships with the community.
  • Interacts with outside eating disorder, substance abuse, and mental health treatment programs and providers at all levels of care to establish referral relationships, educate regarding our treatment approach, and facilitate continuity of care for shared clients.
  • Promotes superb customer service and excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure process implementations are carried out through each individual entity within the region.
  • Participate in administrative on call rotation on weekends and maintain 24-hour availability when on call.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate preferred, years of experience could be considered in leu of Master’s Degree
  • Three to five years of experience in the mental health field, preferably with eating disorders.
  • Two years of management and/or operations experience with multi-site responsibility

  • Displays strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback for improvement
  • Demonstrates advanced understanding of the population being treated
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Possesses working knowledge of psychopathology, diagnostic assessment, and related treatment interventions
  • Knowledge of industry’s standards and regulations in states overseen
  • In depth knowledge of business and operations functions
  • Strong and appropriate written and verbal communication skills
  • Manage challenging and crisis situations in a calm and confident manner, and provide leadership and appropriate role modeling to others in doing the same
  • Exhibits a collaborative, resourceful, and enthusiastic approach to challenges and leadership
