Patient Engagement Manager

Casa Palmera is a nationally recognized subacute residential treatment center offering drug rehabilitation, treatment for alcohol addiction as well as treatment for mood disorders and anxiety and trauma disorders. Compensation Range: $25-30 per hour

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of standards of practice.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Code of Ethics.
• Knowledge of all functions within the organization.
• Works closely with management within Casa Palmera and Discovery Behavioral Health partners.
• Communicates effectively up and down the organizational chart.
• Completes patient intakes, including orientating new patients to the facility, searching their belongings and all other related tasks.
• Facilities group activities as assigned.
• Serves as an advocate for the patient, participates in crisis management when necessary and assists the Director of Patient Engagement and Director of Operations in general milieu management. 
• Assists Director of Patient Engagement in planning, organizing and supervising services and special programming for patients.
• Provides weekend coverage of the Director of Patient Engagement responsibilities.
• Perform all duties assigned and delegated by the CEO.

This is a full-time position that will work Monday through Friday.

• High School or GED Diploma, bachelors preferred.
• Must have active SUD counselor certification/licensure preferred. 
• A minimum of 1 year in behavioral health related fields required.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.
• Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
• Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws
