Compensation Range: $17.50-21.50 per hour
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

The Behavioral Tech is responsible for observing and reporting on client behavior while implementing structure in daily programming.
- Facilitates clients’ daily needs per the program schedule.
- Perform Intake procedures with new clients
- Partner with Primary Counselor to conduct new client orientation, as needed
- Conducts property searches of clients as required.
- Observes client location and documents observation every hour, or as otherwise ordered
- Must remain awake for entire shift
- Maintain professional and compassionate interaction with clients.
- Performs urine drug screening testing of clients as required.
- Observes and monitors clients’ behavior and interactions and documents in client’s chart
- Communicate with clinical team all pertinent client information via Shift Report in EHR
- Maintains awareness of client schedules and personal time.
- Completion of Med training required.
- Observes self-administration of client medications and follows medication documentation protocol (only after provided with appropriate training per company policy).
- Conducts regular house and grounds checks, advising supervisor of any irregularities. Assists in keeping grounds and facility safe and clean.
- Assure the unit is sanitary through cleaning, emptying trashes, straightening up
- Becomes familiar with and consistently implements company policies and procedures.
- Follows emergency procedures (notification protocols, transportation, etc.)
- Follows directions as given
- Attends all staff meetings, in-service trainings, and educational workshops
- Answers telephones.
- Assist clients with laundry
- Complete laundry for facility linen
- May provides transportation services including client transportation/supervision, errands, shopping, pick-ups etc. (must be pre-qualified to drive our vehicles and clients).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time position that will work Friday-Tuesday 1100PM-730AM
- High School or GED Diploma
- First Aid, AED, and CPR certification, obtain within 30 days of employment and maintain current thereafter
- Position must apply for an WA Department of Health, Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential, within 30 days of hire and maintain this throughout employment.
- Position must obtain a Food Handlers card within 7 days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of sobriety if in recovery.
- Medication training required within 30 days of employment
- Computer competence (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Compassionate Communication Skills.
- Some prior knowledge of drug/alcohol dependency and mental health issues, preferred.
- Previous experience working in the treatment field preferred.
- Previous group facilitation experience preferred
- Up to one year of experience in a similar position or similar function preferred.
- Valid Class “C” Driver’s License and liability insurance preferred.
