Compensation Range: $95,000-120,000 per annum
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Outpatient Program Director oversees all administration of the outpatient treatment facilities. The PD oversees the clinical management staff, actively expands the outpatient business through opening new facilities and expanding service lines. Ensures that business unit operates with adherence to clinical guidelines, state regulations, accreditation standards, and company compliance rules. PD is additionally responsible for overseeing and optimizing business operations, with a goal of delivering first-in-class clinical care in addition to admissions/intake of PHP and IOP levels of care. Partners with admissions, marketing, and business development to support their endeavors.
Collaborates with Alumni, Clinicians, Discharge Planning and CEO/COO to expand and improve programming and integrate existing program with service line expansions. Manages process improvement and change management initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, length of stay, average daily census, and client satisfaction metrics. Responsible for P&P development, regulatory compliance, Origami risk management, and standard of care. Coordinates with Leadership to facilitate success for IOP/PHP level of care.
Establishes and maintains best practices for managing human capital, both employees and independent contractors. Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels, facility maintenance, expanding professional development resources, and building employee morale. Responsible for coordination of care, scheduling of psychiatrists, supply chain, food service, and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of administrative staff. Employee hiring, initial/ongoing training. Performance evaluations. Monitor staff compliance with program policies and procedures and review documentation to assure compliance with program, CDPH and Joint Commission compliance.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Admissions to position Casa Palmera’s outpatient brand. Provide clinical information in layman’s format for marketing purposes. Support marketing and business development events.
- Complete assessments for PHP and IOP levels of care in accordance to payor requirements/guidelines.
- Support clinical and administrative staff with decision-making and crisis management. Work directly with clients and staff as needed.
- Collaborate with UR, QA, and billing to provide ongoing support and training of clinical staff to ensure highest standards of client care and documentation quality.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry required
- Understanding of recovery and the recovery community as demonstrated by the ability to demonstrate competence and speak the language.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
- Must have valid CA Driver’s license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle on Facility’s property.
- Work experience, skills and knowledge outlined above.
