Compensation Range: $45 - 40 per hour
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery and skilled in therapeutic massage techniques that promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being. Candidate must be proficient in all components of massage therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 50-minute or 80-minute massage therapy services to clients as part of their holistic treatment plan.
- Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to ensure services are aligned with each client’s physical and emotional needs.
- Create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients in recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage in the context of addiction recovery, including stress relief, body awareness, and physical healing.
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized treatment space.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case discussions as appropriate.
This is a part-time position that will work Monday - Friday with potential for weekends.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid Massage Therapy License in California.
- Minimum of 1year of experience
- Proficient in all components of massage therapy with the ability to work in a Treatment Facility.
- Training or experience in trauma-informed care is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Reliable transportation required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, or somatic bodywork.
- Familiarity with co-occurring mental health conditions.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a residential treatment setting.
- Flexible scheduling may be required, based on client needs.
