Compensation Range: $25-27 per hour.
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.
This is a temporary position that will sit in Irvine, CA full-time.
The Human Resources Specialist carries out responsibilities to support the onboarding process in compliance to Discovery Behavioral Health’s required protocols. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Discovery Behavioral Health.
Essential Job Functions:
· Conducts Employee Onboarding process by collecting all required documents
· Works with 3rd party vendors to collect employee pre-employment clinic results and background checks
· Follows up with the employee and management team on progressive hiring process of employee
· Ensures all appropriate trainings are assigned and completed in a timely manner
· Monitors I-9 completion
· Ensures everyday compliance of Discovery’s policies and procedures
· Administers new hire accounts in all company information systems (email, KIPU etc.)
· Regularly monitors the onboarding email inbox and takes incoming calls
· Helps support any other HR-related needs
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred
Ability to balance shifting priorities and keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System preferred
