Job Description

The Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating group therapy at the RTC and Inpatient level of care. The Group Facilitator participates in de-escalation or crisis intervention when necessary. The facilitator communicates pertinent information to the primary treatment team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Clinical Manager, Program Coordinator, Executive Director and other professional staff to help develop a comprehensive program of therapy, evaluation, and treatment
  • Facilitation of clinical groups
  • Participating and supporting patient meals including prepping, portioning and eating with patients
  • Ensure documentation timeframes follow state and payer requirements
  • Attends weekly treatment team and/or clinical meetings
  • Serves as a liaison with multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Participates in company training, webinars, and related meetings
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA privacy rules
  • Any other job-related responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor

Compensation Range: $20-22/hr.

Compensation is dependent upon education and experience. 

This full-time (38 hours per week) position is in-person at our Bridgewater Outpatient Program. It has a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday (currently Tuesday-Friday 8a-4p, Sat 9a-3p). [Would need flexibility for future availability for Tuesday-Friday between 8a-7p.]

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in mental health treatment OR a Bachelor’s degree, preferred  

  • Experience working in behavioral healthcare, preferred 

  • Obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire 

  • Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire 

  • Obtain ServSafe certification within 90 day of hire 

  • Must possess a current driver’s license and be in good standing
