The Discovery Mood and Anxiety Program at San Jacinto is a 19-bed licensed group home that serves individuals with mental health disorders in a short-term residential treatment environment.  The person selected for this position will be required to have OR be eligible to be receive a GHA credential from the State of California.  

Compensation Range: 75k-95k

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

The Facility Chief Executive Officer/Program Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Regional Operations Manager, Vice President of Operations, Division President and the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This position manages subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise employee(s) and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. 

Responsibilities

  • Establishes credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges. ​ 
  • Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.  
  • Collaborates with the executive management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company. 
  • Motivates and leads a high-performance management team; attracts, recruits and retains required members of the executive team not currently in place; provides mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program. 
  • Acts as lead “client-care officer” through direct contact with every client and partner. 
  • Oversees day to day operations of assigned programs and analyzes Key Performance Indicators of each program to ensure the embodiment of the organizational values of access to care and clinical quality.    
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate systems, policies, and procedures in each program.    
  • Ensures programs are in compliance with regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and requirements of third-party payers.     
  • Collaborates with the Regional Director, SVP and Division President to identify areas of improvement within programs and solution focused plans of action.   
  • Understands and works with the Leadership to analyze financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to promote effective use of program(s) resources and alignment to budget.   
  • Works collaboratively with Human Resources department to lead team and establish a trusting and productive department. This includes carrying out essential HR functions for direct reports (i.e. hiring, annual reviews, performance management, and personnel improvement plans).    
  • Maintains excellent and prompt communication with all support departments to ensure coordination of operational activities.    
  • Serves as representative for Discovery Mood and Anxiety by collaborating with the Clinical Outreach teams to establish and maintain positive relationships with the community.  
  • Interacts with outside eating disorder, substance abuse, and mental health treatment programs and providers at all levels of care to establish referral relationships, educate regarding our treatment approach, and facilitate continuity of care for shared clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or Masters leading to clinical licensure preferred
  • 10 to 15 plus years in various management/leadership roles, preferably in the Behavioral Healthcare Industry.
