Compensation Range: $55,000 - 70,000/annually

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

Reporting to Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Supervisors. The BD Evening Clinical Milieu Manager is responsible for the implementation of scheduled patient activities for evening programming.  Responsible for supervising evening staff to ensure all department protocols are followed.  Acts as a liaison between the clinical, leadership, and nursing staff while maintaining an environment which provides safety, ethical practices, and adherence to established protocols and policies.  Ensure all staff treat clients with respect, dignity, compassion and care.

Responsibilities

The duties listed below reflect the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position. 

  • Responsible for supervising evening staff either in individual meetings or as a group.
  • Works with evening staff to create a schedule and make sure shift has adequate staff coverage.
  • Monitors patient interactions during structured and/or unstructured activities.
  • Ensure adherence to program protocols.
  • Ensure rooms are clean throughout the facility and assignments are completed properly and timely.
  • Responding to calls and issues in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Use the established chain of command for any issue/emergency.
  • Follow schedules set forth by clinical leadership.
  • Create training documents for direct reports
  • Conduct weekly evening staff meetings.
  • Attending meetings and providing shift reports with Patient Care Technicians.
  • Collaborate with supervisor on hiring, discipline and performance issues.
  • Create an atmosphere of collaboration, respect, and teamwork.
  • Positively promotes Brookdale to prospective clients, families and employees. 

This is a full-time position that will work Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience working in field of drug and alcohol rehabilitation Required
  • Master's level degree in relevant field Required
  • Prior awareness of and exposure to, workings of (AA/NA) self-help groups OR
  • Has had training relative to and/or has functioned in, the role of supervisor OR
  • Possesses a knowledge of addiction/recovery principles.
  • CPR is required within 90 days.
