Compensation Range: $25 per hour
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

As a CPI Instructor, you will be responsible for training all DBH staff on de-escalation and crisis prevention skills, ensuring that they are equipped to handle challenging situations effectively in the milieu.
Essential Job Functions:
· Train staff in de-escalation and crisis prevention skills.
· Provide training and support for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention for the responsible assigned region/facility.
· Prepare and provide CPI training programs, including facilitation of ancillary programs and presentations
· To work closely with HR and operations team to ensure that all delivery and training are completed to a high standard.
· Ensure employees receive proper certification upon completion.
· Renewing CPI certification every two years to maintain their Certified Instructor status.
· 1 or more years of experience in the behavioral health setting preferred.
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
· CPI Certification required (DBH will pay for the certification)
· Experience working with children/adults with behavioral health.
· Ability to demonstrate and perform specific physical intervention techniques.
· Empathy and understanding of developmental stages.
· Great communication skills
· Microsoft software knowledge and experience (teams, outlook, PowerPoint ect.)
· Ability to utilize ABA strategies.
· Ability to travel as needed
