Copywriter

We are a growing behavioral healthcare company looking for a talented copywriter to join our marketing & communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling marketing copy for various audiences, including but not limited to patients, healthcare professionals, payors and others. You will write copy for both print and digital assets, as well as help with editing the work of your peers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment without sacrificing any attention to detail and can easily work on multiple projects (and brands) at any given time. Compensation Range: $85-95k per year.

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

• Write engaging, error-free copy for both print materials (fliers, brochures, posters, newspaper ads, etc.) and digital assets for various channels (websites, social media, email, blogs, etc.)
• Edit copy
• Collaborate with content manager, project manager, graphic designer and customer to achieve goal of the marketing piece(s)
• Seamlessly write web copy that keeps SEO best practices in mind, without keyword stuffing
• Create both long-form copy (blog posts, brochures) and short-form copy (social media blurbs, headlines/CTAs), always with the voice of that particular brand
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Come up with creative solutions to complex problems—be proactive rather than reactive
• Provide top-notch customer service through initiating communication about any project
• Edit and upload blog posts to various websites
• Understand the goals of the customer and the company and use strategy to help produce thought-provoking copy

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
• Minimum 5 years of writing experience
• Writing samples of print, digital or broadcast work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Communicator and Outlook
• Demonstrative experience with a CMS (Wordpress or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred
• AP Style writing/editing knowledge preferred
