Compensation range starting at $75,000 per year

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

The Clinical Manager is responsible for providing management of all clinical functions of clinicians.  

  • Responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, has knowledge of the organization, provides supervision, reportable to Clinical Director.  
  •  Clinical Manager delivers all activities in accordance with the standards of State and Federal regulations.   
  •  Essential Job Functions:  
  • Adheres to the facility’s philosophy.  
  • Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.  
  • Provide day to day Clinical Support for clinical staff   
  • Provide facility support as manager/supervisor on site for rotating weekends 
  • Implements plans for performance improvement for clinicians  
  • Evaluates quality of program provided by clinicians on an ongoing basis.  
  • Provides group and individual supervision for all Clinicians   
  • Recruits and interviews new clinicians.  
  • Engage in outreach, recruitment, and marketing with graduate school providing clinicians for practicum, pre-doctoral, and post-doctoral opportunities.  
  • Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.  
  • Carry a small individual and group caseload  
  • Builds positive relationships with staff and physicians. 
  •  Works collaboratively with the Program Director.  
  • Provide facility support by rotating with leadership team Administrator on Call Duties 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to clinical staff.  
  • Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately. 
  •  Review, assess, and evaluate client treatment plans and clinical records of clinicians  
  • Ensures all clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.  
  • Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.  
  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.  
  • Lead Milieu Management efforts among clinical and facility staff members. 
  • Lead ATA Blocking efforts among clinical and facility staff members. 
  • Follows Infection Control guidelines at all times.  
  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.  
  • Assists in formulating standards for patient care.  
  • Performs other tasks, as assigned.  

This is a full-time position that will work onsite Monday-Friday, with rotating weekend coverage.


Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 3 years with a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or health-related field, with equivalent licensure.  
  • Proper credentials to provide supervision for all unlicensed Doctoral and Master's level Clinicians  
  • A minimum of 2 years management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, JCAHO standards.  
  • Knowledge of JCAHO standards.  
  • Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline.  
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.  
  • Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
