Compensation Range: $65,000-$80,000/yr
Compensation will be dependent upon education and experience.

The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for the development and elaboration of the Alumni Services at Cliffside Malibu. Meets with clients at both inpatient and outpatient levels of care to familiarize them with alumni program before they discharge. Works closely with the Referral Relations Department to maintain an accurate and up-to-date database on clients discharging from the program. Responsible for the organization and execution of alumni events and communications on behalf of the organization. Manages the Cliffside alumni app. Conducts regular check-ins with alumni and gathers relevant data. Collaboration with corporate team at Discovery Behavioral Health to expand the organization’s resource base.
Responsibilities
- Meets with clients on a regular basis to provide information on alumni services.
- Maintains a database with contact and demographic information on program alumni.
- Maintains an accurate calendar of scheduled discharges and works closely with Referral Relations team to ensure Alumni Services are accessible to client post-discharge.
- Routinely contacts alumni to check-in and obtain information on target indicators (including abstinence or other relevant items).
- Collaboration with the corporate team at Discovery Behavioral Health to expand the organization’s resource base.
- Documents in clients’ charts as appropriate and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the coordination of alumni email/newsletter communications.
- Responsible for management of alumni app.
- Responsible for the coordination of alumni events.
- Meets all deadlines for documentation as elaborated in clinical guidelines and/or Company policy.
- Participation in networking events.
- Participation in Utilization Review meetings, Clinical/Treatment Team meetings.
- Be familiar with all HIPAA laws and ensure all communication is HIPAA compliant.
- Elaboration of groups and experiential outings as part of program schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, salary position that will work 9am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
- Recommended High School Diploma. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and CADC/CATC certification preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in general office and/or behavioral health environment preferred.
- Experience in Word and Excel
